Yawei is an Austin-based DJ known for a style she calls “bohemian bass,” a flexible-genre style rooted in conscious bass. Known for her intentional and transformative sonic journeys, her sets draw from her background in ecstatic dance, and hosting high vibe events where music and movement take center stage, offering listeners somatic release and deep renewal. In just a few short years, Yawei has built a growing national presence with 45+ documented shows, as well as headlined several festivals and events. Her music and presence creates a powerful experience of rhythm, connection, and liberation.
